We are talking about the same government bureaucracy that targets conservative parents for attending school board protests; are we really expected to believe that they don’t know who leaked the Roe v Wade opinion?

In an unprecedented move meant to root out the SCOTUS leaker, SCOTUS is now requiring that clerks of the court hand over their phone records and sign ambiguous affidavits.

The pressure has become so intense that some clerks are reportedly seeking legal counsel in the wake of the recent actions taken by the court.

Could this move be purely for show? Is the court already aware of who the leaker is? Could the leaker potentially be a Supreme Court Justice? Is the court trying to protect one of its own?

We don’t yet have answers to any of these questions, but almost one month has gone by and they still claim they have no idea who the leaker is…

CNN provided more details:

Lawyers outside the court who have become aware of the new inquiries related to cell phone details warn of potential intrusiveness on clerks’ personal activities, irrespective of any disclosure to the news media, and say they may feel the need to obtain independent counsel.

Conservative Brief continued:

“The probe has intensified the already high tensions at the Supreme Court, where the conservative majority is poised to roll back a half-century of abortion rights and privacy protections.

Chief Justice John Roberts met with law clerks as a group after the breach, CNN has learned, but it is not known whether any systematic individual interviews have occurred,” the report added.
